Welcome to the home of Trinity Training

Personal letter from Shân, owner and founder of Trinity Training

I want to thank you for all your support over the last 32 years – yes that’s how long Trinity Training has been in business!

And obviously you have been part of our story, along with hundreds of others.

I have been involved in training nearly all my professional life, firstly personal development training for apprentices in a wide range of national companies, all household names. Then I worked for an international company, training first in the UK (from Aberdeen to Exeter and Belfast to Maidstone) and then overseas (from New York to Johannesburg and Kuala Lumpur to Sydney) including flights on Concorde!

Trinity Training was a tentative step into self-employment with my first client being Royal Sun Alliance in West Sussex, so much for focusing in the Midlands!

I was privileged to design and deliver training for small family run businesses to large government departments, from charities and churches to corporate businesses.

I have always loved training, although I told my parents I would never be a teacher, because I saw how hard they worked in the evenings, at the weekends and in the school holidays.  Most recently I have focused on the areas of safeguarding and foster care; this brought together my own experience as a foster carer with my love of training.  I still have a passion for both, but now the time has come for me to retire and move to voluntary work in my local community and with the charities where I am a Trustee.

Thank you to those of you who have sent me your best wishes and shown your appreciation; I have been moved by your kind words, which mean so much.

May I quote from a very special client:

You should be rightly proud of what you built, achieved as a trainer and really importantly the impact your training had on carers and I suspect all the non-carers too.  32 years really well spent, there are not many of us that can say we have that kind of legacy.

Our carers really valued what you gave them.  I want to thank you for all you did to support their understanding and learning.  Your passion always shone through.  I always had every faith in you, you are reliable, kind, noble and on the side of children, plus you had the knowledge and skills required for the job.

I will go out to commissioning tender for a course, so don’t worry at all, I also have a pool of trainers who deliver other things who might submit an interest so it will go on in another format, it will never replace your unique perspective though!

So thank you again for your trust in me to deliver your training and coaching, for being a client, colleague, a mentor and a friend
